Inspired by the book Persuasion by Jane Austen, who spent holidays in Lyme Regis. This is a retelling of the love story of Anne and Captain Wentworth. This piece was created using pages from Persuasion, hand made papers incorporating ammonites, fossils of sea creatures who lived in the ocean in Lyme Bay millions of years ago. The colours were taken from a 1920s beaded purse which is on show in Lyme Regis Museum.
